Youth Council is always looking for parents to get involved and help plan youth service and social activities. Let us know if you would like your email address added to our youth council distribution list. We have monthly meetings and would love to hear from other parents in the parish!

Youth Council of St. Benedict the Abbot

Youth Council was formed three years ago to help find ways to get the youth of our parish more involved at the church.  Since that time, we have planned numerous trips to the Washington Food Bank, Humane Society, Nursing Homes, as well as making  Blizzard Bags for Meals on Wheels, preparing our booth at Relay for Life, a Spaghetti Dinner, Senior Brunch and helping with various other activities such as the Parish Picnic, Santa Brunch and Receptions through Faith Formation.  We have many other parish activities that can be planned (Junk Food Bingo, Washington City Mission service trips etc.) but we need additional help to continue providing these opportunities.

If you are interested in getting involved or you have ideas that would benefit this group,  please reply to and we will keep you informed.
