Parish Pilgrimage to Italy
Italian Shrines & Tuscan Life

Fr. Sam is leading a trip to Italy in October 2009 that will include visits to the birthplace of our patron, St. Benedict, as well as his famous monastery, Monte Cassino, south of Rome. The tour features roundtrip transportation from Pittsburgh, accommodations in first class hotels and a four night stay at a villa in Tuscany, 2 meals daily, local guides and entrance fees for museums, wine tastings and tips. Departure is October 20, and our return is October 30, 2009. The price based on double occupancy is $3698 per person, not including tax and fuel surcharge. Attendance at the Papal Audience while in Rome is on the itinerary as well as visits to Montepulciano, Siena, Florence, Lucca, all in Tuscany, and Perugia, Cascia and Norcia, in Umbria.

Brochures with complete information will be available in the parish office and in the narthex of the church beginning in November. A meeting to answer questions and discuss specifics is set for early 2009. Space is limited and the reservation deadline is June 1, 2009.
