Ministry of Mothers Sharing Lenten Program

Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOM’S) invites you to join them for an 8-week Lenten Program for mothers beginning February 22 through April 11. We will start with an evening program, and a morning program may also be added with enough registrants. The MOM’S group is a national ministry that invites you to examine your inner self and your relationships with God, your children, your family, and friends. It is also a great way to problem solve and share advice. All mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, guardians, and soon-to-be mothers are invited to participate. It’s a great way to meet new friends and make St. Benedict’s feel like YOUR parish. The cost is $35 per person which covers materials, and the registration form is available in the parish office. Contact Jodi Ripepi at 724.260.0691, or email christian5906@gmail.com with any questions.

St. Benedict Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOM'S)

Our group is a dynamic, growing ministry in our church. Please join us as we explore and experience motherhood (or grandmotherhood) together! This enrichment class explores topics significant to being a woman, a mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend. The curriculum includes reading, group discussion, prayer and journal writing and a different topic is covering each two-hour meeting. Attendance each week is strongly encouraged since we build on the content from the previous week.

It’s a class! It’s a support group! It’s a prayer group! It’s a way to meet other women in our parish! Come and explore our Catholic faith from a mother’s perspective! Make this valuable commitment to yourself.

Mother, step-mothers, guardians and grandmothers with children of all ages are welcome.

Here is an example of what mothers at St. Benedict’s are saying about this ministry since its inception..

:“Our meetings helped me to appreciate my family and made me realize that when I take care of myself, I can attend to the needs of my family better.”

“This program has provided me with perspective on the big picture of family life and reminded me of what truly is important as a mother.”

“I feel that I am a better wife, mother, sister and daughter.”

“The MOM’S group has made me feel like I really belong to this parish. Now when I attend Mass I see so many familiar faces.”
