2009 Mass Intentions, Candles . . .
Our 2009 Mass Book opens this week. To facilitate your requests, you may link to the Mass Intentions form or use the form that was included in the bulletin of October 5. Watch for the sheet and follow the instructions to submit your requests for Masses in 2009. This year we are permitting three intentions per household, one of which may be scheduled at a weekend Mass. We still have a large number of unsatisfied intentions from 2008 that have to be scheduled first, and we need to allow openings for deaths that may occur in 2009.
Requests will be handled on a first come, first served basis from the forms as they are received. If there are remaining openings after we have received all the forms that arrive in the month of October, an announcement will appear in the bulletin. On the second page of the form will be the request form for the Sanctuary Candle, Altar Flowers and Bread & Wine memorials. With Mass intentions being limited, these are alternate ways to remember your loved ones at the liturgy.
