Helping Others Pursue Employment

Discover H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Pursue Employment) is a ministry here at St. Benedict the Abbot. The purpose of H.O.P.E. is to offer resources for those who are unemployed, underemployed or who may be seeking a new path of employment. The ministry provides a place for workshops with some practical topics such as: resume writing, networking, interviewing skills, career coaching, online job search skills, listening skills, as well as pastoral support in these difficult times.

H.O.P.E. Mondays is a weekly meeting that meets Mondays at 9:15 am to 10:30 am in room 208. Coffee and tea are provided.  This is a support group during which we spend a little time in Prayer & Scripture and then we turn our attention to various topics and the needs of the group. Anyone is invited to attend anytime.

H.O.P.E. Workshops are scheduled the 1st Thursday of every month from 7 to 9 pm in O'Brien Hall.

“Do nothing from selfishness or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others” (Phil 2:3)
