Every Sunday at the 9:30 am Mass, young children (ages 3-6) are dismissed for Children's Liturgy of the Word. The children are called forward after the Opening Prayer and then are led to the prepared space in our chapel by a dismissal catechist. Here, a separate Liturgy of the Word is held using the Children's Lectionary and other age-appropriate resources which enable the youngsters to take a more conscious and active part in the Sunday Mass. Then, the children return to the larger community for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
